Q: Who is eligible?
A: All physicians who are currently insured by PLICO are eligible to
participate. Mid-level providers and nurses who have individual insurance
premiums are also eligible to participate.

Q: How do I qualify for the Risk Management Premium Credit?
A: Approved Risk Management activities are valued at 1-20 points. In order to qualify for the discount, the following points are required:

Q: Are certain activities required? A: In 2013, PLICO is offering an opportunity for our insureds to qualify for a 6% Risk Management Premium Credit by attending both days of EXPLORE: Oklahoma Healthcare Summit 2013. Attendance at the full conference is the ONLY way to qualify for the 6% credit. For more information, please click here. As in previous years, there are a variety of activities that qualify for points to achieve the “BRONZE” (2%) or “SILVER (4%) Risk Management Premium Credit. However, to achieve the “GOLD” level (6%), the provider must complete a *premier activity and complete additional activities for a total of 30 points.
Q: What if I attend a Risk Management activity that is not on the list?
A: In order for an activity to earn points toward the Risk Management Premium Credit, it must be PRE-APPROVED by the PLICO Risk Management Department. You may request approval in writing or by calling the PLICO Risk Management hotline at 405.815.4803.
Q: What is the deadline for earning points?
A: The deadlines for earning points are as follows:
• January 2013 renewal date: Deadline is October 31, 2012.
• February-December 2013 renewal date: Deadline is December 31, 2012.
